At Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, Dr. Eldred’s dedication to excellence continued to shine as she obtained her Doctorate of Optometry with honors. Her thirst for knowledge led her to an additional bachelor’s degree in Vision Science, while her role as Vice President of Beta Kappa Sigma International Optometric Honor Society underscored her leadership and commitment to advancing the field.

Dr. Eldred’s journey has been defined by diverse experiences that exemplify her versatile expertise. At Visual Therapy of Saint Petersburg, she delved into the intricate realm of Pediatric Vision Therapy, skillfully diagnosing and managing conditions such as amblyopia, strabismus, and traumatic brain injuries. Her compassionate approach extended to working with both children and adults, conducting developmental evaluations and implementing targeted visual therapy to unlock their full potential.

Beyond her dedication to vision therapy and rehabilitation, Dr. Eldred’s academics traversed various specialized departments at The NSU Eye Care Institute. She immersed herself in fields such as Advanced Care Glaucoma, Cornea and Specialty Contact Lens, and the complexities of Autism/Neuro, leaving no stone unturned in her pursuit of comprehensive patient care.

Her publication and presentation at SECO in March 2023 illuminated “Acute Macular Neuroretinopathy Case Series: Diagnostic Challenges in the Era of COVID,” showcasing her commitment to pushing the boundaries of knowledge.
